Okay ... not our finest moment, but lessons were learnt and our glass is still half full!
We learnt about our set order and what NOT to start with, a bad decision and we stumbled through the rest of the set. You live and learn.
Thank you to Toby, Ming and Andy for turning out, we thought Chalk Farm would be a step too far for any of our usual regulars and so it proved. That said it is not a bad little venue, Ray the sound guy was excellent ... so thank you Ray! and also Jarrod of Tourdates and Turning Worm who were promoting.
It's always nice to have the opportunity to play and for that we are grateful, it is also a good way to hone certain things that we have been unsure of and to kick out things ...
I have been waiting a Loooong time for someone to take offence and finally we got it last night, Olive from "on the buses" was there and she DID NOT LIKE US AT ALL! Thanks Olive ... you at least fulfilled my expectations of some of the great british public ... bless!
Regs,
Tox.
