Okay ... not our finest moment, but lessons were learnt and our glass is still half full!
We learnt about our set order and what NOT to start with, a bad decision and we stumbled through the rest of the set. You live and learn.
Thank you to Toby, Ming and Andy for turning out, we thought Chalk Farm would be a step too far for any of our usual regulars and so it proved. That said it is not a bad little venue, Ray the sound guy was excellent ... so thank you Ray! and also Jarrod of Tourdates…

This was a brilliant show, it was passed around via email as a link between a mate who sent it to me, and others who had received the link and also cc'd me in on it again (without knowing I had already received it).
Good show Toby ... more please ... and if there are music fans out there who don't listen to much radio give RTYD' Radio podcast a go ... you will not be disappointed!
Even though I have "Smash it up" by The Damned it had been too long since I last heard it and was reminded agai…

Well Mr Otto Phthrugg is now back from his hols' with the wife and kids .... and he's pissed off ... no, I mean really pissed off!!!
So pissed off is he that we have another new song for the set called either (depending on who you talk to in the band) "Pissing in the wind" or "oooojah John". I think Otto called it something else but I wasn't paying much attention.
A great Punk anthem, at 1 minute 51 seconds, of Otto Phthruggg bemoaning the fact that no-one…

Those lovely people @
Rock-Til-You-Drop are putting us on again at a favourite venue of mine
THE DUBLIN CASTLE in Camden.
We will be playing with, amongst others the fabulous
PUNKS NOT DAD, Probing Cranks & headlining will be The Outbursts,
personally I'd have gone to this show even if we weren't playing.
I've martyred a shirt with bleach and scissors and got my old chains and spikes out for this one. Go on soap up your hair, put on that ripped up t-shirt and jea…

The 35mm played their most recent gig today at the Red Lion pub in the Oxfordshire village of Blewbury. The weather tried its darndest to spoil the day, but we got going with the first set only about 30 minutes after the original start time!
The songs went well, and the audience were very appreciative of the music.
The day was a fundraiser for the Merlin's Magic Carpet charity, and we raised a good amount for the cause.
The next gig is this Saturday 25th July, when we return to the Grand Junctio…

Hey guess what was topping the charts in the U.S. when we got our first cool President in decades... Lady Gaga “Just Dance”. Go figure. Cool stuff going on...dumb music thumping out the soundtrack... at least Bush gave the vehement lack of taste as exemplified by Eminem, Pink, Public Enemy, Jay-Z and Elbow.
Obama loves Stevie Wonder, I guess that means we get a new Disco wave...
