Who, or what, are you?
a fan, a member of a band, a recording studio
What is your website address?
http://theoutbursts.com
Which of these type(s) of music do you like, play or promote?
rock, indie rock, punk, jazz, electronica
Who are your favourite bands?
Kraftwerk, Motorhead, Hoodoo Gurus, The Necks, Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band
What was one of the best, or most memorable, gigs you ever went to, played, or put on?
Motorhead at The Lyceum in 1979 (two gigs, two weeks apart) - not the first time I'd seen them, nor the last, but certainly the best !!

The Sisters of Mercy at The Lyceum supported by The March Violets remembered mainly for the excessive use of smoke and the human pyamids in front of the stage.

Van Halen supporting Black Sabbath at Hammersmith Odeon and realising that the musical world was about to change (for a bit)

Bonzo Dog Band at The Astoria, fulfilling a long held dream to see this band ably assisted by Paul Merton, Stephen Fry, Adrian Edmonson and Phill Jupitus. The sight of Adrian Edmonson crowd surfing in a parrot costume during Mr Slater's Parrot will remain with me!!
What is, or was, your favourite venue? Tell us about it, if you like?
The Lyceum for its faded spendour and ease of access to the bar

The Marquee in Wardour St for obvious reasons, walking down the long corridor, through into the first bar, say hello to Charlie Harper, push through into the venue and into the back bar by the bogs for a beer, the smell, the sticky floor, I loved it all. I once did the sound there for a band (The Myth), it was like a dream come true!!

Hi Matt,
I understand that one of your mates was taking photos of the gig on the 16th, is there any chance of seeing photos?

Tox.
