About 14 Carat Grapefruit
A schoolband in the late '70's, 14 Carat Grapefruit were overlooked by the new punk phenomenon due to obvious lack of talent and credibility. Despite an unparalleled work ethic nothing has changed. After a brief 18 year break they reformed the original line up with Lem on Bass, Birdy on Guitar and Otto shouting, but began to notice they had no drummer or songwriter/ second guitar. Tox and Sticks were recruited and the sound and image of the band was greatly improved, as was picked up in the popular music press. The band now have a hint of the theatrical with appearances from God to the (not so good) Bishop Wagstaff. Extensive gigging in the West End of London followed and an international tour is planned (well, Tox and Sticks want to go to Amsterdam).

- I'm in!!!Loved the CD sampler chaps. I spent a chilled mid morning laghing out loud to that, so thanks. Lyrically speaking, to my mind many of those songs are pure Wayne County-esq class. I'm bigging you up wherever I go!
